Multi-active toner by Dermalogica

My impression of Multi-Active Toner has been spoiled from the very first use because of the packaging, in particularly the pump. It is extremely rigid, I have to press really hard to be able to spray. In the long run I’ve ended up using this toner with a cotton pad, which is very disappointing, as initially I intended to spray it all over the face, so to refresh my skin during the day.

Besides, after using it I do not … Read more

Strength Cure Shampoo by Pureology

In terms of moisturising, I never had high hopes for shampoos and mostly used to rely on conditioners/masks/treatments. But my opinion changed after I’d used “Strength Cure” by Pureology. Gentle foaming cleanser for oily skin by Clarins

I cannot express enough how much I like to use this cleanser when my skin starts to be oily in summer. Currently, it is my favourite cleanser for a warm/hot season and nothing can beat it.

Premier Model CleanserFrankly speaking, I had never heard about this brand before and it was quite a blind purchase. I just needed a make up remover and this one was on a discount, so I picked it up. But afterwards, I was so glad that I’d made this choice, as it removes eye make-up so easily, like a dream!

Recently I was using “Bioderma”, which was OK, but I still couldn’t fully understand all the hype around this product. And probably … Read more

Face and Body Scrub by MD Formulations
Face and body scrub by MD formulations has a creamy texture and contains tiny plastic exfoliating granules with glycolic acid (15%). When the scrub goes in contact with water, it gives very light lather.

When I used this product as a face scrub, my skin did not tolerate such relatively high concentration of glycolic acid, the scrub irritated my skin, made it red, caused burning and increased sensitivity.

But when I used it as a body scrub, the body exfoliation … Read more
